Impactful Snowfall Still Expected

Good Tuesday afternoon everyone! Few things as we get started: Now that the low pressures are beginning to merge, our storm track is pretty locked in place. As a result, forecast confidence is finally much higher. We’re still expecting a healthy, impactful snow for the Region. We have a general feeling that people have let their guard down with the thinking this storm has missed us. There’s still a storm–it’s just shifted slightly east (and not as all since this morning). [This is our MONDAY EVENING update. Please check the homepage at regionweather.com for the very latest forecast information] THE BIG PICTURE Our rain has arrived with the first wave of low pressure and will continue through the overnight before turning to just scattered showers during the morning and midday hours Tuesday. Our first wave of moisture will stall out as another low pressure moves in and cranks this whole storm system up.
