SNOW RETURNS THIS EVENING:
Snow lovers, you’ll have to wait. Our storm system will arrive in two waves (instead of one) and it will take the southern track we’ve mentioned in our last two posts.
The result? We’ll see snow showers overspread the Region late this evening into tonight with light accumulations, mainly in our southern counties. The snow will depart by morning with another wave of snow passing to the south during Monday afternoon and evening.
Overall accumulations look light with some spots not seeing much at all to the north while an inch to 3 inches max will accumulate from Newton and Jasper counties south towards Indianapolis.
Areas downstate could see a swath of 3-6 inches, so if you have travel plans tonight-Monday from around Indianapolis and SOUTH towards Evansville, you’ll encounter some problems!
