WE WARM UP, BUT RUN THE RISK OF PASSING T’STORMS
It’s hard to believe Memorial Day is upon us already! The unofficial start to summer is arriving when we have barely felt those warmer, spring-like temps around the Region. We are beginning a warming pattern over the next few days that will bring 70’s back to NW Indiana, but unfortunately, we’ll continue with passing rainfall chances.
Here’s a look at the Regioncast:
Our slow-moving area of low pressure is pulling away from the area and clouds will give way to some partial sunshine late Thursday. Sunshine will continue to mix with clouds on Friday before clouds increase late in the day with a few showers and storms around the area late Friday night.
We’ll have a frontal boundary nearby Saturday AND Sunday bringing a few rounds of showers and storms–but many hours will be dry in-between! Highs will be quite warm this weekend as they reach well into the 70’s if not 80 degrees on Saturday.
Let’s put it all together and wrap a bow on it for you in your extended forecast:
