Our next wave of showers and storms continues to organize off to our west. A cluster of storms has developed as of 4pm and will continue to roll southeast through the evening hours. Temps near the lakefront remain cool, but inland we’ve warmed into the 60’s and 70’s providing a bit of energy for these storms to work on. Here’s a look at that cluster of storms to our west:
I’m expecting mainly a heavy rain event for Lake, Porter, and LaPorte counties with some thunder and lightning. Newton and Jasper counties will need to be watched for stronger storms. Here’s a look at future radar:
