MODELS TRENDING WARMER THIS WEEKEND INTO NEXT WEEK:
This cool, rainy pattern has got to go. But it’s been hard to break. Our mild February would be better than what we’ve been handed to end April and begin May…
Until a few days from now!
As of Monday, models weren’t too impressed with that warm air in the central Plains making it into NWI over the next 10 days. As of Tuesday night–those models have changed their mind. The American model for example is hinting at upper 70’s and low 80’s Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday. The European model is painting a similar picture with little in the way of lake cooling come Monday. Regardless, it’s too early to jump on any bandwagon as it all depends on the position of a warm front set to arrive later this week. That’s why your phone app says 50s and 60s, your local tv personalities say 60’s to near 70, and why Region Weather is the optimist in the group with this forecast:
(subject to change due to complex weather pattern days 4-8…but that’s always the case!)
Stay tuned!
