STORMS RETURN TODAY

Good Friday morning everyone–we have a cold front on the way today and with a little daytime heating we’ll be able to support a few stronger storms this afternoon. First and foremost this is NOT the severe weather setup we had over the last few weeks. We will need to keep an eye out for a few stronger storms in the mix though.

Not much has changed in terms of timing or coverage. We’ll have scattered storms arriving this afternoon into the evening (northwest to southeast across the Region) and we’re expecting scattered coverage meaning some locations may not see rain while others get a strong storm. Friday night football games will have to keep an eye on the radar (and we will too) as storms will likely be around during kickoff and tailgate plans.

Storm activity would move out tonight as the front pushes east of the Region. Stay tuned, we’ll have the updates you need throughout the day as always.
