SCATTERED STRONG STORMS FRIDAY PM

Our next front will move in later Friday bringing scattered storms through the Region. With some decent instability, a few of these storms could be on the stronger side with damaging winds as the primary risk. Before we get ahead of ourselves, we’re not looking at anything widespread and storms aren’t even guaranteed in all locations in the Region. What we DO know is the atmosphere will be able to support A FEW strong storms mixed in with scattered normal, summer-time non-severe storms that will also be mixed with just plain old rain showers that will be mixed with some areas that stay dry. Thus the word scattered! Just want to give you a heads up–we’ll have an update in the morning right here
