SUNDAY MIDDAY STORM UPDATE

Our complex of storms has evolved into a powerful line of storms just to our north that will race across Lake Michigan and will likely produce some wind damage in western Michigan. While this line looks like it will barely miss us to the north, I’m keeping close eyes on it as I’ve seen these evolve and “pulse” slowly to the south as it moves east. We have a huge amount of instability present right now, so there’s plenty of fuel for these storms locally. Despite no Severe T’Storm Watch for most of us (LaPorte Co. does have one), we’ll need to be weather aware over the next few hours as we may see these storms begin to fire into Lake and Porter counties initially.
