Our atmosphere is ready to go here on our Monday with ultra-muggy humidity and some serious heat building to our west. We have an approaching low pressure system and a cold front which will eventually make their way into our soupy air–and out ahead of it storms have and will continue to develop the rest of the day into the evening.

Storms have had a tough time getting going well to our north last night–but they’re gaining some steam this morning with a lot of activity heading to our east in Michigan. Our storm chances will ramp up throughout the day with the highest threat occurring later this afternoon into the evening as the front approaches.
Here’s a look at how this evolves and a peek into the rest of July into the beginning of August.
Wow an incredible muggy morning indeed.
