Our afternoon round of rain and storms is on the way and will overspread the Region over the next few hours. We’re seeing some spotty downpours developing right over us as of 3pm, but the bulk of the action will move in for that evening rush. The clouds and this next batch of rain has really put a damper on our instability as well as cut off a good flow of moisture from the Gulf to NWI, so our severe threat looks low the remainder of the day. We’ll still have to keep a close eye on any more organized activity as the dynamics with this system alone could overcome our modest instability. We’ll keep you posted!
