Quiet Until The Weekend…

Sunshine will fill our skies (outside of the snowbelt) today but it’ll be cold with highs struggling to get out of the low to mid 20s. Lake effect clouds will linger for a bit in Porter and LaPorte counties with our northerly flow off the lake that created our lake effect snow showers last night.

High pressure settles in nicely through Friday with more sunshine and highs near 30.

Attention then turns towards our weekend storm system that will bring widespread accumulating snow from Illinois to the east coast! This will all begin Saturday for us locally. We’ll discuss the latest track and impacts to NW Indiana in our next post later today!
