The remnants of Zeta and an area of low pressure will continue to push east through the Ohio Valley today spreading rain just to our south. This system, along with lingering moisture will likely trigger a few lake effect showers later today into tonight. Temps will struggle to hit 50 this afternoon with a gusty wind out of the north. Waves on Lake Michigan will rise into the 7-11 foot range causing our traditional spots along the lakeshore to flood.

Quieter weather is expected Friday night into Saturday. Halloween looks great weather-wise with sunshine and highs in the 50s. It will be windy though with gusts over 30 mph at times as a system zips by just to our north. While it looks like we’ll remain dry from this next storm, it will kick off lake effect snow for Michigan and the eastern lakes.
