A complex of showers and storms has been ongoing across portions of Wisconsin and northern Illinois this morning. These storms have been fading as they move across the lake and towards our lakeshore counties but will continue to periodically spread some light rain into the Region this morning. The bulk of the activity will likely stay just north of us, but we’ll see a good deal of clouds from these through midday.

Temps will be scorching just to our west with mid 90s likely in Illinois, but the clouds and a lake breeze should keep our counties adjacent to the lakeshore in the 80s to near 90 if we see sun later, and Newton, Jasper, and Starke counties will likely creep into the low 90s later in the day.
