BLUSTERY, LAKE RAIN GETS GOING TODAY

Good Friday morning! That wind is cranking and the air has a bite to it this morning as our first strong Fall storm system continues to roll east. Winds will remain gusty all day today blowing in colder air at the same time we try to warm up from daytime heating. The result will be little to no change in our temps today as they remain in the 50s. Showers will move in with a trough to the north and this will ignite lake effect rain later today into tonight. Some of this rain may be locally heavy if we get some banding to set up. Thank goodness it’s all rain for now–if we were a bit colder this would be a heavy hit of lake snow tonight! (but it’s not)
