Strong Fall Storm System Moves In Today

RAIN MOVES BACK IN TODAY

Our first true Fall storm system will move in today bringing waves of showers, breezy conditions and milder temps out ahead of the low. Temps will slowly rise through the 60s with our daytime high likely occurring after sunset.

The cold front will pass tonight with more gusty showers. This is when the temps start dropping as winds turn quite gusty out of the west and then northwest. Temps will fall from the 60s through the 50s tonight.

By Friday we’ll feel the colder air with temps likely staying put or slowly falling in the low 50s to the upper 40s later in the day. Winds will continue to be on the gusty side with gusts over 30 mph possible. All of this will combine with more showers that will turn into lake effect showers (and rain) as the colder air comes over our warmer lake. It won’t be the most pleasant of Fridays…but at least it will be Friday…
