It’s hot and steamy out there as of our midday and storms are firing right on cue along and just ahead of the cold front to our north. These storms will continue to organize and we’ll see a fairly quick hit of heavy rain, lightning, and pockets of strong winds over the next few hours. These storms will hit our northern counties (Lake, Porter, and LaPorte) first before moving into (Newton, Jasper, Starke) after that. We should get these storms out of our northern counties by 4pm and out of our southern counties by 6pm (maybe earlier for everyone), so our Saturday evening plans would still be just fine as drier, cooler air blows in behind this front!
