A frontal boundary will sink south across the lake today giving the wind the old switcheroo this afternoon into the evening. That wind shift is everything locally, and while you’re not hearing much chatter around this, I’m anticipating it to be a pretty big deal. Temps will likely go from the 70s down into the 50s–and this should reach pretty far inland by late afternoon and evening. Often it’s accompanied by low clouds and some fog–we’ll see if that holds true, but make sure you’re prepared for cooler temps later today, especially in our northern counties.
