After a brief period of quiet weather–the action returns this evening! A strong area of low pressure will develop to our south and roll northeast through the Region tonight. Clouds will thicken up today with highs in the mid 40s. You’ll notice an east wind begin to pick up and rain will be soon to follow this evening. Rain will be heavy at times late this evening into tonight with windy conditions expected overnight. This all changes over to a heavy wet snow briefly before ending Saturday morning with a cosmetic coating to an inch or two possible–especially the further west and northwest you’re located in the Region. We’ll enjoy quieter weather once again for the remainder of your weekend with recovering temps!
