Our temps have now dropped to freezing or just below freezing for a good portion of the Region so now we need to pay attention as we’ll begin to turn more wintry around here! Light freezing drizzle is falling across Lake and Porter counties with a stout band of heavy snow moving into Rockford, IL as this wraps itself up. Expect light freezing drizzle to continue and even expand further into the Region this evening before we begin to track that band of heavier snow in later tonight. Careful if you’re heading out this evening as those untreated surfaces will begin to slicken up!
