RAPID TEMP DROP EXPECTED VERY LATE THURSDAY EVENING

One of the many elements of this winter storm on the way will be the rapid temp drop where we go from the mid to upper 30s down to near 0 in a matter of hours. This is all being driven by that deep arctic airmass that’ll begin racing into the western US later today. Not only will we quickly turn extremely cold, but heavy snow and powerful winds will develop leading to a very quick decline for anyone out traveling.
