Another reinforcing shot of colder air is moving through this morning bringing pockets of snow through the Region–untreated surfaces this morning are messy as evident with the numerous slide offs and accidents this morning–please take it slow. Treated roads are doing much better. The snow showers will continue on and off throughout the day, especially as lake effect sets up in northern Porter and La Porte counties. Not looking for anything noteworthy accumulation-wise, but an inch or two in those spots is possible through this afternoon. Everyone turns colder today with temps slowly falling back through the 20s behind this front–it will feel more like the 10s through your Friday evening.
