Rip Current Risk Today In Lake Michigan

Northerly winds will turn up the lake with 2-4 footers expected today. We run the risk of rip currents along the coastline which can make swimming difficult for inexperienced swimmers. Stay away from areas such as piers and breakwalls if you’re in the water. Wave heights and rip current risk will subside later tonight. Here’s an infographic from the NWS
