Our weather pattern will begin to shift next week as a dome of heat will take firm hold over the central and southern Plains. Waves of showers and storms are expected to develop on the northern periphery of this heat which will lay the “train tracks” as we like to say, right over the southern Great Lakes. While it’s never guaranteed this time of year, the POTENTIAL is there for multiple thunderstorm complexes to roll through the Region bringing some relief from our developing drought. Stay tuned!
