One more day of the really hot stuff before we gradually bring in a refreshing airmass for your Father’s Day Weekend. Our low temp only dropped to 76 last night in Valpo and that will provide a springboard for our temps to hit the mid and upper 90s again today. The humidity isn’t quite as high today, but we’re still in some serious heat. In terms of storms, they’ll fire along a frontal boundary in northern Illinois/Wisconsin later this afternoon and will slowly drift east. We’re not expecting any storms to get into the Region until after 10pm CT at which point they should be in the weakening stage. We’ll update you on everything in a Region Weather LIVE broadcast later tonight!
