After a chilly start this morning, temps will recover quickly today as they head towards the 70 degree mark. Wind will begin to increase and will become quite gusty this afternoon as that big storm system takes shape in the southern and central Plains. Still watching for isolated storms to pop along the warm front later today, but the atmosphere will likely be “capped” which hinders storm development and if this remains the case we’ll get through our evening without any rain. We’ll chat our Wednesday severe chances in a special Region Weather LIVE broadcast later this evening.
