We have a good push of heavy rain about to move through the Region with embedded thunder. Not expecting severe weather with this batch, but heavy rain will be a problem over the next few hours impacting the evening commute as we mentioned earlier. There’s a secondary line of storms still to our southwest in Illinois that would pose a severe risk later this evening.
