You’ve probably noticed, we’ve been on the dry side the last 30 days across the Region. Several cold fronts have moved through the Region producing heavy rain just east or just west of us, but we’ve managed to squeak by without much rain.
Take a look at the last 30 days vs average:

The brown and red shaded areas show drier than average. We’re running anywehre from 1.5 to 3.0 inches below average since the end of August with some areas near the lakeshore receiving less than a tenth of an inch this month!
We don’t have much in the rainfall heading our way this week as we discussed in our Sunday Snapshot LIVE broadcast, but as we trail towards the weekend we’ll begin to ramp up those rainfall chances once again with a frontal boundary.
