Our active weather pattern will continue after a nice break from strong to severe storms across the western Great Lakes this morning. Another area of energy is floating through the atmosphere (see video below) and will likely trigger strong to severe storms later today into this evening to our west.

In terms of our local severe threat, on a scale out of 5, the Storm Prediction Center has us at a 2, or a slight risk much like yesterday.
