A small, but potent storm has developed on that aforementioned boundary moving out of Grundy County into Will and Kanakakee Counties. This storm has shown consistent rotation and although it’s not strong, it’s similar to what the tornado-producing storms in northern Illinois were doing so a Tornado Warning has been issued as a result.

We’ll watch this storm move east towards Lake County—still some time for it to break up a bit or reorganize, but keep tabs on this one as it moves east.
