Leftover sprinkles from an earlier line of storms to our west will pass through this evening without much fanfare. Meanwhile Iowa is getting hit hard right now with tornadic thunderstorms (15 tornado reports and counting) as supercells develop in their highly unstable environment.

We don’t have the same setup here, but we’ll have to deal with whatever is leftover with those storms–likely a line of storms that will be losing steam as it moves into the Region after midnight. We’ll keep an eye on it for you.
