Think of this storm system as an “inconvenience” rather than the blockbuster storm we’re seeing posts about on social media. We’re not looking for high snowfall totals by any means, just more of a late season surprise more than anything else.

-a slushy, high-water-content wet snow is expected Tuesday into Tuesday evening

-heaviest snowfall rates look to be later Tuesday into Tuesday evening

-any slick travel should be confined to those times as the April sun (even through the clouds) should keep roads wet and manageable through the midday and afternoon

-a quick coating to a few inches of snow are possible, but the bulk will be east.
