A storm system is moving northeast through the Ohio Valley this morning bringing accumulating snow to areas well east of us as expected.

We’ll still see some periodic flurries and snow showers today as this system works through with some lake effect developing later today towards Chicago.

This lake effect will likely work into northwest Indiana later today into tonight and Friday–but we’re not expecting anything organized so accumulations should remain on the lighter side.

We’ll keep an eye on it! Until then, here’s your forecast for the day ahead:
