Stubborn Cloud Cover

With the lowest sun angle of the year and a stout inversion (a layer of warmer temps up above our cold temps here at the surface), our layer of stratus clouds is STUCK with no way to clear out.

We’ll begin to get things moving again and should get rid of that inversion over the next 36 hours as sunshine will gradually return Wednesday out ahead of our weekend storm system. Still a good one to watch–looking like a rain to snow situation for us.
