A warm front will surge northward through NWI Friday evening and any leftover showers and storms will lift northeast overnight. Temps will surge Saturday south of that warm front with highs at or above 80 expected making it the warmest day of the year so far! Our rare April warmth will continue Saturday night with a line of showers and storms approaching from the west. This line will move through during the early morning hours Easter Sunday and will give way to clearing skies during the day Sunday. Temps will remain mild through early next week except near the lakefront where cooler temps will return Monday into Tuesday.
