Your NWI Weekend: Spring-like Temps!

It’s here! Treasure these days because we have another cool pattern ahead. We’re still thinking upper 70s today (stubborn with our 79!) but we’ve added a scattered thunderstorm chance later today into tonight as a frontal boundary will sink south across the Region. Sun Returns, Cool Wind Today

Our departing area of low pressure will give way to decreasing clouds and a cool breeze off the lake today. Highs will struggle to reach 50 by the lake, but will easily reach into the upper 50s to near 60 further south. Expect mainly clear skies and COLD conditions tonight leading to areas of FROST. If you have any plants outside that are subject to frost, well, bring them in tonight! Lows will drop into the 30s. Continue reading Sun Returns, Cool Wind Today

Friday Forecast: Showers Return Late

FRIDAY FORECAST:   A good portion of our Friday will be dry, but we’ll see some passing showers as a weak system slides through later today. Showers will become more widespread tonight into Saturday as that advertised area of low pressure swirls it’s way through the Region. Temps today will be much cooler lakeside with areas of fog. We’ll likely hold in the 40s lakeside with highs trying to reach near 60 the further south you get. Continue reading Friday Forecast: Showers Return Late
