This Morning’s Lows + Looking Long-Term

CRISP SUNDAY MORNING

Good Sunday morning everyone! High pressure moved through the Region overnight providing that settling effect to the atmosphere which allows us to cool down quickly again last night. Most of us have some frost this morning but we did get down to freezing in and around Rensselaer with another cold pocket in LaPorte County. We’ll warm up from here with a nice breeze and milder temps today! We’ll continue to stay on the warmer side this entire week. Look at this morning’s lows:

LONG STRETCH OF WARM AIR ON THE WAY

Good Sunday afternoon everyone! We won’t have a Region Weather LIVE this evening (family vacation) but it’s an amazingly easy and enjoyable forecast for the week ahead! It’s feeling pretty amazing this afternoon and the good news is that this will begin a nice stretch for our temps around here. A large ridge will move across the eastern US and hold all week long and perhaps through the end of the month (Halloween?!) as the western US sees the colder stuff. Our prolonged stretch of warmth will be accompanied by highs in the 60s and 70s for the most part and rain chances look pretty minimal for now!
