HEAVY WEEKEND RAIN

Our rainy weekend begins with the first round of rain moving through this morning. Heavy rain and some embedded thunderstorms can be expected through the first portion of this complex before plain old rain takes over through the midday and early afternoon hours. All indication is that we get a short break before our next round develops later this evening into tonight and mainly early Sunday. Repeated rain over the same areas will lead to flooding in the Region (and all across northern Illinois and Wisconsin) so please be mindful of high water if you have to travel this weekend! Otherwise good coffee and a good book sound in order.
