NEXT UP: SEVERAL ROUNDS OF STORMS

The ridge of heat will begin to break down the next few days and as a result the “ring” portion of the ring of fire pattern will return to the southern Great Lakes including us here in the Region. That “ring” is where the storm track is and as we’ve seen the last few days to our north–there are waves of storms that track along that boundary. Each wave will have plenty of dry time in between, but we look to jump into the storm highway tomorrow and we’ll likely be in the thick of it Friday before the boundary continues to push further south this weekend–hopefully exiting the Region by later in the day Saturday. We’ll have to keep a close eye on each round as damaging winds and hail have been common with the storms to our north.
