A Quick Note On Tomorrow’s Storms

STORMS LATE TUESDAY

A cold front is on the way to the Region tomorrow (Tuesday) and we’ll see a broken line of showers and storms move through pretty quickly with the front late tomorrow evening into the overnight. We chatted about it in our broadcast Sunday evening and not much has changed–I’m still not overly impressed with our severe setup–we’ll lack a few severe weather parameters–but it’s August and we need to keep an eye on any storms that develop. The radar won’t look TOO impressive (especially given this last week), but any storms tomorrow will carry mainly a damaging wind threat in addition to scattered heavy downpours and lightning. Some areas may end up completely dry as this front moves through. We’ll have updates as needed!
