Heavy Rain Potential Friday PM through Saturday

HEAVY RAIN POTENTIAL FRI PM-SATURDAY

Our next round of rain is inbound from the west and will move in during the afternoon and evening Friday. It’s a slow moving area of low pressure that will swirl through Indiana Friday night into Saturday. A lot of the rain will be scattered, but there’s the potential for a few bands of heavier rain to develop along and north of the low–which goes right through the Region Friday night into early Saturday. As a result, we could have areas of localized flooding where the banding occurs with the rain with slow-moving downpours all the way through the day Saturday. Amounts won’t fall evenly, but some of us will end up with a localized 1-2+ inches of rain before Saturday night rolls around.
