HEAT RETURNS: BUT HOW HOT?

Lots of fun with the modeling regarding next week’s high temps as we’re in day 5 of a split with just how hot we get. We know we’ll turn much warmer as a massive heat dome overspreads the Midwest this time. As we’ve mentioned in previous posts, the humidity won’t be crazy this time, but it will still feel hot regardless. Big differences continue to show in forecasts as models are having a hard time grasping a few key concepts such as humidity levels, amount of “corn sweat” off the corn crop (seriously!), and just where the core of this ridge establishes itself and where the storm activity around it ends up. We’ll discuss it all in our weekly LIVE broadcast Sunday evening, but either way…that heat is back next week.
