Fireworks Forecast: 4th of July Edition

4TH OF JULY FORECAST

Happy 250th America! We can copy the forecast from every 4th of July in the past and paste it on today. Sunshine, hot and humid with storms firing in the daytime heating. Every year it seems we’re tracking storms through the Region that could interfere with firework plans! This is early July in the Region. So what about today?

Take a look at the satellite this morning (as of 10am). We’re heating up now in our sunshine, but that area of clouds (and mini swirl) to our west will be key in our forecast today. I expect this area of clouds to become our next “wave” of storms that will roll through today–a few storms could be strong again today–but this looks to have an afternoon arrival with a higher potential to clear out before fireworks. Basically we need to get this thing in and out of here as quickly as we can. We’ll be keeping an eye on it for you–enjoy your 4th plans in the meantime!

Make sure you’re plugged into our Facebook Page where we had updates on last night’s storms and will have frequent updates as needed today!
