A large dome of heat will develop next week and center itself over the Ohio Valley bringing days of relentless heat and disgusting humidity for much of next week. I know it’s late June and will be July–but these dewpoints are going to rise to some of the highest levels we see here in the Region–and the combo of the high temps and the high humidity will push heat indices into the 105-110 range, perhaps higher in spots. Just gross, but seriously stuff as this first wave of heat is the most taxing on our bodies. Make plans now to stay cool next week!
