HAPPY METEOROLOGICAL SUMMER!
For those that celebrate đŸ™‚ As we begin the month of June, here’s a look at where we are…and where we go weather-wise.
-High temps continue to climb with our average heading into the mid 80s by the end of the month. Lows become much warmer as well, often with those muggy, summer nights arriving
-We average nearly 4 inches of rainfall in June, almost exclusively from thunderstorms.
-Our daylight gain comes to an end with the solstice, but in total we still gain 9 minutes between now and the end of the month
-It can get HOT and our hottest temp recorded in the month of June here in the Region was 100 back in 2012. 90s become common the last two weeks of June
