In the near term, quiet weather continues. This weekend into the beginning of next week will feature an area of low pressure that heads east and grabs some CHILLY air out of Canada and brings it down across the Great Lakes. This will likely result in widespread lake effect rain next week downwind of all of the lakes including Lake Michigan. We would use the rain—just maybe not the rain, wind, and cold temps. We’ll hone in on the details as we head through the weekend.
