The updated drought monitor was released today and our “abnormally dry” category has expanding into Lake, Porter, LaPorte, and northern Starke counties. This is something we can make up with a storm system that brings good soaking downpours and wouldn’t you know it–we have one that will move in tonight into the day tomorrow!
