When we said storms would stay northwest, PHEW, they barely did. We have a few downpours pushing through the Region right now, but the main storms responsible for producing tennis ball-sized hail is well to our north and west. After this batch of rain moves through the warm front will surge north of us and we’ll be in the warmer, more humid air tonight. Temps right now are in the low to mid 80s in central and southern Illinois! A testament to how different that airmass is that’s moving in.
We still have a severe threat tomorrow across the Region–we’ll chat about it in our Region Weather LIVE update tonight!
