Good Wednesday morning everyone! Get ready for a soaking of a 24 hours as a frontal boundary interacts with the Region before cooler, drier air finally wins out later Thursday. Rain and a few storms will develop this afternoon along a warm front with another round expected overnight with the front itself. Heavy rain is the primary concern, but a few strong storms are also possible, especially the further south you’re located (Newton and Jasper counties). Temps will rise into the 50s today and hold there until that Thursday morning rush hour when they’ll fall back into the 40s and eventually 30s later in the day.
