Happy Meteorological Spring everyone! (remember, us weird meteorologists divide the year up into 3 month segments for record-keeping etc) It will certainly feel like Spring today with temps making a run at 60 degrees. Our lakeshore communities will be cooler though as Lake Michigan does its thing today and keeps locations close to the lake in the 40s.

As for the month of March, we warm quickly this month with averages by month’s end in the mid 50s! It’s not our rainiest month, but we typically have an active storm track through the Region and yes, there is still snow climatologically. The biggest thing is the daylight we gain (plus the time change)! 7:12pm sunsets by the end of the month!
