It’s January 3rd and we’re getting a good old fashioned thunderstorm in Lake County right now with some lightning and very heavy rain. You may see some small hail as well from Highland to Griffith to Gary as the center of this storm has some decent organization. This storm will move out over the lake within the next 30 minutes but a few additional storms are southwest of us getting ready to move in. Nothing severe as of now.
